Job summary

The King's Trust is seeking a Youth Development Lead to engage with young people across the East Midlands, delivering employability sessions and supporting their journeys toward work, education or training. You’ll work with delivery partners, volunteers and employers to ensure successful outcomes and equitable access to opportunities.

Role involves travel, field-based work, and coordinating with partners to remove barriers while maintaining accurate records for funding compliance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support and guidance to a group of young people.
• Assist with travel expenses and manage other commitments.
• Liaise with employers and job centres to remove barriers to success.
• Deliver employability sessions to young people, both in person and via MS Teams.
• Travel to deliver programmes on-site when required.
• Keep accurate records of young people, volunteers and partner data to meet funding requirements.
• Champion Equality, Diversity and Inclusion through local action plans.
• Be prepared to deputise and take on different hats as needed.
