Job summary

Diabetes UK is seeking a Youth Coordinator in Wolverhampton to lead the Together Type 1 programme across the Midlands & East, delivering activities that empower young people living with type 1 diabetes.

You will work with young people and healthcare professionals to design and deliver the programme, recruit and coordinate Young Leader volunteers, and travel regularly to build networks and run planned initiatives.

We ask colleagues to spend at least one day a week in the office, with more time in person when this supports effective collaboration or the needs of the Charity.

Salary: £30,804 - £34,227

We have an exciting opportunity for a youth coordinator as part of the Together Type 1 programme. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage the Together Type 1 programme within the Midlands & East at Diabetes UK.

We’re looking for someone who can work alongside young people and healthcare professionals to design and deliver a programme which helps young people living with type 1 diabetes live successful and confident lives. Also, to develop a network of Young Leader volunteers to shape and deliver planned initiatives as a fundamental part of the Together Type 1 programme.
