Job summary

Premier Church in Chelmsford is seeking a full-time youth and children’s worker (or two part-time workers) to lead and develop our growing ministry of 100+ young people and volunteers. You will work with an experienced staff team, equipping volunteers and shaping Sunday programmes, groups and events with pastoral care and discipleship.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about God, gifted with children and young people, creative, self-motivated and able to inspire others.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about God and the Gospel.
• Gifted in working with children and young people.
• Creative, self-motivated and capable of inspiring and developing others.
• Ability to collaborate with a team of volunteers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop our youth and children’s ministry (100+).
• Support Sunday programmes, groups and events.
• Provide pastoral care and discipleship to children and young people.
• Recruit, train and empower a dedicated team of volunteers.

Are you passionate about Jesus and excited about helping the next generation grow in faith?

We are looking for one full-time worker or two part-time workers to join our large (350+) and lively, multinational church, leading and developing our growing youth and children’s ministry of 100+.

As a full-time worker, you would be expected to support both our children and young people’s programmes. Part-time roles could be age specific, e.g. supporting children or young people only.

You will work alongside an experienced staff team, leading, equipping and encouraging a dedicated team of volunteers. You will help develop our Sunday youth and children’s programmes, groups and events, providing pastoral care and discipleship for children and young people while finding creative ways to reach others with the good news of Jesus.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about God, gifted in working with children and young people, creative, self-motivated and able to inspire and develop others.
