Job summary

Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to join Wirral MHST within the CYPMHS banner. The post involves delivering CBT in schools and clinics, with a focus on children and young people aged 5–18 and their families.

The role includes co-facilitating CBT-based parenting programmes, providing supervision and contributing to staff development, and may involve flexible hours with some community travel across Wirral.

Qualifications

• BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist required.
• Experience delivering low intensity CBT within MHST is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based CBT interventions for children and young people aged 5–18, in schools or community settings.
• Deliver 1-1 and group CBT sessions as part of Wirral MHST/CYPMHS.
• Support schools in developing a Whole School Approach to Mental Health.
• Contribute to supervision, training and staff development of CBT practice.
