Job summary

Catch22’s West Mercia Integrated Child Sexual Exploitation and Child Criminal Exploitation service seeks a dedicated practitioner to support vulnerable young people within a case management framework. You will assess needs, plan interventions and work with local authorities and safeguarding boards to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Direct specialist knowledge of risk factors leading to exploitation and addressing them.
• Ability to engage with vulnerable young people 1:1 within a case management model.
• Experience working with multi-agency partners to achieve outcomes.
• Experience in safeguarding processes and procedures.
• Experience writing good quality reports showing impact of work with young people.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain relationships with referring agencies to ensure referrals.
• Assess and plan interventions for young people within timescales.
• Plan and deliver interventions following Catch22 policies and local authority guidance.
• Engage with Local Authorities and safeguarding boards to establish multi-agency partnerships.
• Record intervention, contacts and multi-agency work in MIS.
• Monitor progress and produce reports for funders and stakeholders.
