Reed in Partnership is seeking a Careers Coach to support Youth Jobs Guarantee participants. The role involves diagnosing needs, coaching individuals and groups, and maximizing accessible funding to prepare for employment. Travel across Newcastle/Northumberland will be required, with a focus on outreach and employer engagement.

The position offers a generous base salary, pro-rata for part-time; 25 days annual leave, and opportunities for professional development within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing environments.
• Ability to engage with referral partners and local communities.
• Willingness to travel locally and meet stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify participants' skills and suitable opportunities.
• Support CV preparation, job searching, and interview skills.
• Conduct outreach at community organisations and events.
• Facilitate group trainings and workshops as needed.
• Engage with employers and JCP for referrals.
