Job summary

Hampshire Futures, part of Hampshire County Council, is seeking a Training Careers Advisor. You will deliver one-to-one and group sessions in schools and colleges to help young people explore post-16 and post-18 options, including education, apprenticeships, training and employment.

Working with partners and education providers, you will support progression for young people and contribute to continuous service improvement within a dynamic local authority team.

Qualifications

• Level 6 Career Guidance qualification or working towards.
• English and maths qualifications (level 2) required.
• Knowledge of current participation legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-to-one and group sessions in schools/colleges to help young people decide on post-16 and post-18 options.
• Work with education providers to support progress and participation.
• Contribute to a joined-up approach with partners to enable effective service delivery.
