Job summary

Highland Council in Arach, Strathpeffer, is seeking a Social Care Worker 2 for our residential care service. This permanent post is 37 hours per week with a salary of £34,458 to £38,210 per annum. You will provide round-the-clock care, building trusting relationships with young people in a trauma-informed setting.

Qualifications

• Good general education; ideally an HNC in Social Care SVQ3 or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children and young people or relevant life experience.
• Willingness and ability to register with the Scottish Social Services Council and to train to their required standard (minimum HNC/SVQ Level 3) and commit to ongoing training.
