Job summary

The NHS Wales job at Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board in Bridgend is for an Assistant Occupational Therapy Practitioner in CAMHS, Band 4, part-time (18.75 hours per week). The post is based at Ty Llidiard, Princess of Wales Hospital, and offers pro rata annual salary £28,819–£31,626.

You will work under Occupational Therapists within a multidisciplinary team to assess and plan interventions for young people aged 12–18 with mental health needs, delivering group and individual activities

Qualifications

• Practical knowledge to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
• Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
• Have knowledge of the role of occupational therapy within a mental health and wellbeing context

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of assessments and interventions enabling young people to progress toward discharge.
• Deliver occupational therapy-led group and individual interventions across ward and community settings.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, carers and professionals and maintain accurate clinical records.
