Job summary

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a part-time Assistant Occupational Therapy Practitioner (CAMHS) to join Ty Llidiard, a tier 4 adolescent mental health unit, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The role supports assessments and interventions under supervision of OTs and works within a multidisciplinary team.

The post offers a pro rata salary of £28,819–£31,626 per annum, with Welsh language skills considered advantageous.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, or Diploma in Health and Social Care.
• Experience of working with people experiencing mental health and wellbeing issues.
• Welsh language skills are desirable for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of assessments and interventions enabling young people to progress toward discharge.
• Assist with occupational therapy-led group and individual interventions across ward and community settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service development and training activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and third-sector partners to provide person-centred care.
