Job summary

Tees Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Band 6 CAMHS Crisis Clinician to join the 24-hour crisis service for children and young people up to 18 in the Teesside area. Qualifications

• Current professional registration with the relevant body.
• 18 months post-qualifying experience including sign-off of preceptorship or competency framework.

Responsibilities

• Assess mental health and emotional needs of children in crisis.
• Carry out thorough risk assessments and formulate safety plans with carers during distress.
• Provide short-term interventions and support to maintain young people in the community where possible.
