The post sits in the newly formed children and young people's crisis team at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust. The role focuses on mental health risk assessment, crisis interventions and seven-day follow-ups, delivered face to face, via the Crisis Line or digital tools.

You will work across varied settings, travel to assessments, and collaborate with families, carers and external agencies to safeguard children and deliver timely care within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Experience delivering mental health assessments and crisis care.
• Ability to work autonomously in crisis settings.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
• Strong written and verbal communication across agencies.

Aufgaben

• Carry out comprehensive mental health risk assessments for young people.
• Plan and deliver crisis interventions.
• Provide seven-day follow-up after crisis contact.
• Safeguard young people appropriately.
• Work with young people, families and carers face to face, via the Crisis Line and through technology.
• Liaise with other services and external agencies to ensure effective care pathways.
• Help implement and deliver the CYP crisis service as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Prioritise workload flexibly, sometimes working alone.
• Travel to attend assessments.
