Job summary

Children and Families First Delaware Inc. seeks a part-time Residential Supervisor to guide residents through daily routines, provide counseling, and monitor self-care and social skills. The role supports crisis intervention and ensures safety during activities and meals.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating homework and library use, and assisting in plan development for recreational and arts therapy. A driver’s license and healthcare trainings are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Human Services or related field; 1 year experience preferred.
• Must be 21+; ability to work with diverse populations.
• Valid driver’s license; responsive to safety and incident protocols.
• At least 40 hours of annual trainings including CPR/First Aid/Restraint techniques.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and guide daily routines per program policies.
• Counsel residents in living skills, social interaction, self-care, and crisis intervention as needed.
• Oversee homework/study time and library use; supervise meal times and food selection.
• Document resident performance and behavior; compile statistics and reports.
• Lead recreational and arts therapy activities; assist in program planning.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision; participate in drills.
