Job summary

Salvation Army Homes seeks an enthusiastic activities coordinator for a supported accommodation service in Manchester. The role focuses on creating meaningful activities for young men aged 18-25 and coordinating an engaging calendar.

You will work to involve residents in co-production, with a focus on education, training and employment opportunities, and liaising with local partners to develop meaningful options for residents.

Qualifications

• A passion for serving young people, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.
• An understanding of youth homelessness and/or supported accommodation.
• An ability to contribute to/work towards the goals of a service development plan.

Responsibilities

• Support young people to engage in education, training and employment.
• Create and deliver an activities calendar reflecting their needs and interests.
• Contribute to our co-production commitment, ensuring youth influence is recognised.
• Network with local partners to establish opportunities for young people.
