Job summary

Salvation Army Homes is seeking an Activities Coordinator to design meaningful, recreational opportunities for young people across Preston sites. You will develop an activities calendar aligned with expressed needs and to sustain engagement.

The role reports to the Service Manager and involves evening/weekend work, with a comprehensive benefits package to support personal development and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in youth services or supported accommodation.
• Understanding of co-production and trauma-informed approaches.

Responsibilities

• Support young people to engage in education, training and employment.
• Create and deliver an activities calendar reflecting needs and interests.
• Contribute to co-production commitments with youth input.
• Network with local partners and community groups to create opportunities.
• Lead the partnership with the Foyer Federation.
