Job summary

Reading Football Club Limited is seeking an Academy Operations Support/Driver to plan the academy's transport and drive players to training and matches from designated pick-up points, while delivering excellent support to players, parents and staff.

You will work with the Head of Academy Operations on day-to-day running, ensure safeguarding is prioritised, and help meet EPPP requirements. A full driving licence is essential and some transport planning experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is essential.
• Strong development planning background.
• Willingness to complete CPD, safeguarding and equality, diversity and inclusion training.
• Desirable: transport planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Support academy staff to meet the transport needs of the academy and its players.
• Plan and review transport provision, producing a least-cost transport plan in line with club policies.
• Drive academy players to and from training, games and agreed pick-up and drop-off points.
• Support the Head of Academy Operations with the day-to-day running of the academy.
• Ensure safeguarding and player welfare are the first consideration in all activities.
• Ensure EPPP requirements are met and reviewed.
