Job Description:

Axcis Education is looking for an experienced Support Worker who can build good relationships with children, young adults, and their families. The role is part-time, 2 or 3 days a week, with a pay rate of £14.66 per hour. Candidates must have access to transportation and be willing to travel within Bridgwater and Taunton. The role involves supporting young adults with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, Challenging Behaviour, SEMH, or Complex Needs, often related to trauma. The ideal candidate should be calm, approachable, patient, resilient, and knowledgeable about de-escalation techniques. Care plans will be provided to ensure understanding of each child's needs.
