Job summary

Depaul UK is seeking a compassionate Young People Support Worker to help residents in supported accommodation develop life skills, resilience and move towards greater independence.

You will contribute to SMART support plans, risk assessments, and supporting access to education, training, volunteering and employment, while promoting wellbeing and a safe, welcoming service.

We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Support Worker to help young people experiencing homelessness build safer, more independent futures.

You may already have experience within supported housing, homelessness, social care, youth work or another support environment. More importantly, you will bring empathy, resilience and a genuine belief in the strengths and potential of young people.

You will be able to communicate clearly, maintain appropriate professional boundaries and remain calm when faced with challenging situations. You will also be organised, proactive and confident working both independently and as part of a team.
