Job summary

The Disabilities Trust is seeking a Bank Community Support Worker in York to work across multiple sites, including Rosegarth, Acomb Road, Beckfield Lane and Northmoor. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and weekend premiums, with responsibilities spanning daily care, support planning and fostering a homely living environment for service users.

Applicants should have care experience, strong communication skills, and a flexible approach. A UK driving licence is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain professional relationships with service users.
Contribute to development of service user support plans and risk assessments; complete records as required.
Provide care and support during daily tasks for service users.
Provide personal care as required.
Help service users reach goals and live their best lives.
Accompany service users in activities and visits as needed.
