JAM Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a progressive gas engineering company in York to recruit a Commercial Gas Engineer or Metering Engineer. The role covers installations across Yorkshire, the North West and East Midlands, with typical hours 08:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, plus optional weekend work.

You will install meters, survey sites, and maintain safety standards. Candidates should have proven commercial gas experience, strong fault-finding, a full UK driving licence, and a willingness to

• Proven commercial gas experience, including meter work.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• 1+ year in the Gas Industry with high standards.
• Strong fault-finding and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, remove and exchange gas meters (U6–U160, rotary and turbine).
• Complete site surveys and report findings (training provided).
