Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd is seeking a Gas Industrial and Commercial Metering Engineer to work on a long-term contract delivering industrial and commercial gas meter installations across Yorkshire. The role involves hands-on meter work, site surveys, and maintaining high safety and service standards.

You'll operate Monday to Friday 08:00–16:30 with 30-minute lunch; occasional weekend work; a company van and PPE provided; training paid at hourly rate; immediate start for suitable candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in the Gas Industry.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Presentable with good administration skills.
• Flexible working hours, including weekends if required.
• Valid UK driving licence.

• Install, Remove and Exchange Gas meters from U6 to U160, Rotary and Turbine meters on all pressure Tiers
• Complete site survey work (training provided)

Gas Industrial and Commercial Metering Engineer

Gas Industrial and Commercial Metering Engineer.

An exciting opportunity has arisen on a long-term contract completing Industrial & Commercial Gas meter installations across the Yorkshire area.

Locations: Yorkshire, North West & East Midlands

Salary: Competitive Salary, paid weekly, two weeks in arrears. Hours of work: 08:00hrs to 16:30hrs Monday to Friday with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Saturday & Sunday work available.

Applicants must provide their own standard gas fitting tool kit.

As part of this job type you will initially be required to complete;

• Install, Remove and Exchange Gas meters from U6 to U160, Rotary and Turbine meters on all pressure Tiers
• Complete site survey work (training provided)

You will need -

• Be presentable and have excellent customer service skills.
• Have effective communication skills
• Minimum 1-year experience in the Gas Industry and work to a VERY high standard.
• Be a good timekeeper.
• Have good administration skills.
• Have a flexible approach to your working hours
• A valid UK driving licence is also essential

Immediate start dates are available for the right applicant.

This opportunity may evolve into other work types within All Gas1’ remit but if it does full training will be given. Any training will be paid at the normal hourly rate. This is a superb opportunity to join a progressive and successful company.
