Colne Valley High School is seeking a dedicated Year Leader to join our Year team. The post is permanent, 37 hours per week during term time plus 5 days, with a salary of £26,641 to £27,977 per annum.

To start ASAP, you will oversee the pastoral welfare of a designated group of students, communicate with families as key stakeholders, and help implement an effective Pastoral Support/Behaviour system. The role requires excellent organisation, time-management, team work and competence in Microsoft

This is an exciting opportunity to join Colne Valley High School as an enthusiastic and dedicated Year Leader.

The successful candidate will become part of a Year team taking responsibility for the pastoral welfare of a designated group of students ensuring effective communication with the families of these students, engaging them as key stakeholders in their child’s educational experience.

The post holder will ensure all students in their care are ready for learning and will be responsible for the implementation of an efficient and effective Pastoral Support/Behaviour system.

This is a role that requires excellent organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and remain confident under pressure. A problem-solving attitude to work is essential. The successful candidate must have a positive attitude towards team working, have excellent interpersonal skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office.
