Job summary

Class Act Teaching Services is recruiting for a Year 6 Teaching Assistant at a thriving primary school with nursery provision serving ages 3–11. The role is full-time and long-term, with a March 2027 start available, in a school that was judged Outstanding by Ofsted.

You will support pupils individually and in small groups, assist with literacy and numeracy, help prepare for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment and strong classroom routines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
• Experience within a school or educational setting is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Understanding of Key Stage 2 learning and development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
