We are currently recruiting for a Year 6 class teacher to cover two days per week in a local primary school. This role is part of a job share working alongside another class teacher, with planning shared between both teachers.

This position is from September to May 2026, with the potential for extension until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the children the curriculum, planning lessons collaboratively with the co-teacher.
• Adapt lesson plans to accommodate different children's needs and abilities.
• Provide feedback to parents, the school, and the agency at the end of each day.
• Manage behaviour and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A positive, compassionate attitude towards students.
• Valid right to work in the UK.
