Your new company

Here at Hays Education, we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, reliable Year 6 Teacher to work in a local Bristol Primary School in Shirehampton. This role is on a part-time basis, working 2 full days and 1 morning a week. It is set to start in September and will continue on a long-term basis. As this role is part-time, you can fill the rest of your week with ad hoc or supply work. The role offers flexibility, allowing you to work around your schedule, which you will communicate to us upon joining Hays.

Your new role

In this BS11 Teaching role, your responsibilities will include preparing the Year 6 students for their SATs, from September to May. You will also need to prepare your class for the transfer to secondary school. The school is looking for someone with KS2 experience, preferably Year 6. You will be expected to complete planning and marking, including evenings with parents. The role is open to ECTs, and the successful candidate will have routine classroom responsibilities and collaborate with other teachers throughout the year.
