Job summary

Cape Primary School in Smethwick is seeking a Year 6 class teacher to cover a maternity absence starting December 2026 or sooner. You will join a caring team that celebrates every child's progress and wellbeing, in a school recognised as Good in all areas by OFSTED.

The role requires DBS clearance, safeguarding commitment, and the ability to speak fluent English. The position is a fixed-term contract ending 31 August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach Year 6 class during maternity absence.
