Job summary

Park Lane Primary School seeks a dedicated Year 6 class teacher to lead learning in a dynamic classroom. You will be responsible for a single class, maintain high behaviour and attainment standards, and contribute to school improvement through curriculum leadership.

The role is full-time but part-time in hours (27.5/wk) with opportunities for professional development and supportive leadership in a family-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Proven record as an excellent teacher.
• Experience of leading a curriculum area, or aspiration to do so.
• Full enhanced DBS check.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Job description

A Year 6 class teacher post at Park Lane Primary School, with the post-holder responsible for a class. The work centres on teaching that class and leading an area of the curriculum, with pupils expected to meet high standards of behaviour and attainment. The role is full time at 27.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, starting 1 January 2027. Visa sponsorship is not available, so candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
