Job Description:

We are looking for a passionate and driven Year 4 Teacher with excellent classroom management skills to join our team on a long-term basis, covering a one-year placement in a Year 4 class in Rochdale. The successful candidate will have experience teaching in KS2, with a focus on Year 4. This role requires strong classroom management, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to our students.

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 4
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a positive and respectful learning environment
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to students, parents, and colleagues
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans and assessment strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
  • Uphold school policies and procedures, including behaviour management and safeguarding protocols
