Job Opportunity: Year 4 Teacher

I am working with a mainstream primary school in the SN3 area of Swindon that is seeking to appoint a qualified Year 4 Teacher for a full-time teaching role commencing after Easter.

The school is a two-form entry with a well-established senior leadership team. The headteacher is looking for someone who can bring a 'spark' to the classroom. The school emphasizes making learning fun and accessible for everyone. The ideal candidate will have a passionate teaching style while ensuring all students participate and progress.

The class has 27 students, with one student requiring a 1:1 Teaching Assistant and another support Teaching Assistant who will cover PPA and deliver small group phonics intervention sessions.

The headteacher describes the school as a happy place with strong values at its core. They celebrate kindness and inclusivity and promote each student taking pride in their manners.

Applicants will be shortlisted during the week commencing 24th February, with interviews scheduled for the following week.
