Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Year 4 Teacher in Hindley, WN2 to join our community of educators. This full-time, long-term role starts in September with a class of 30 pupils and support from two part-time TAs.

You will work in a vibrant school focused on respectful, kind values and sustained staff collaboration. Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, guiding students through the curriculum, and maintaining high standards of marking, homework and safeguarding.

Qualifications

  • Qualified teacher with QTS and UK registration.
  • Recent classroom experience in a school or education setting.

Year 4 Teacher

We're currently recruiting for a Year 4 Teacher in Hindley, WN2. This Year 4 Teacher role is full-time, and you will be teaching a class of 30 children, with the support of two part-time TAs who support SEND Children. This role is on a long-term basis starting in September and is a temporary role.

You'll be joining a vibrant and caring school, focused on supporting children to be respectful and kind. This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Teaching the children in class and ensuring they complete their work to a high standard
  • Guiding children through the curriculum, marking work and setting homework tasks
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
Requirements or Skills:
  • A teaching qualification with QTS
  • Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Exceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
