Job description

ABC Teachers are recruiting for Key Stage 2 Teacher with experience working on a full time basis, to work in a Year 4 class at a primary school in the Telford area to start from the beginning of the new academic year.

The role
This role includes the following:

• Serving as a dedicated Class Teacher, responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating engaging lessons while monitoring pupil progress.
• Full-time position with the opportunity to be paid on the M1-M6 pay scale from the outset.
• Long-term cover role commencing at the beginning of the Autumn Term 2025, continuing until Christmas, with the potential for extension.

The school
Two-form entry primary school based in the Telford area, with a long-standing relationship with ABC Teachers. Supportive staff in the KS2 setting of the school with opportunities to collaborate with planning.

Requirements
To be considered for the Year 4 Teacher position, you will:

• Be able to communicate and work effectively with pupils in a Key Stage 2 setting.
• Confident in behaviour management skills based around the age range you are working with.
• Have experience teaching the Year 4 curriculum.
• Need a relevant QTS for working in a primary school environment, this is a compulsory part of registration.
• Have or be able to obtain a DBS registered to the update service.
• Be able to gain relevant references from the last 2 years.
