Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Downley. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 2, align with the National Curriculum, and support pupils' literacy, numeracy and overall learning progress.

The role is full-time with MPS/UPS salary, starting September 2026. Applicants should have a current enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one. A Refer a Friend scheme offering up to £150 is available.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A passion for inspiring and supporting pupils through engaging and inclusive teaching.
• A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupils of all abilities.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• A current enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
