Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Two education or school-based references are required.
• A current enhanced DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to safeguarding, inclusive practice and supporting pupils of all abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across the Year 4 curriculum.
• Plan and prepare lessons that support progress and meet individual learning needs.
• Assess, record and report pupil achievement in line with school policies.
• Create a positive and well-managed classroom that promotes behaviour for learning.
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support pupils’ academic and personal development.
