Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with SEMH needs on a 1:1 basis in SK5. An immediate start is required, with the role running at 30 hours plus per week, Monday to Friday, within a nurturing school environment.

You will work closely with the class teacher and pastoral team, helping to implement individual plans and maintain a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Two references—at least one ideally from an education provider or similar setting.
• Able to work as part of a team and support the ethos of a school.
• Experience supporting varying levels of need and abilities as a teaching assistant.
• Experience of providing a positive learning environment as a teaching assistant or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Work as 1:1 with a Year 3 pupil with SEMH needs.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher and pastoral team to ensure correct plans are in place.
• Support the pupil to stay emotionally regulated and engaged throughout the day.
• Start immediately and commit to 30 hours plus per week.
