Job summary

Teach is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a Thetford school on a January 2027 start. You will teach Year 3 for three days a week, sharing planning and marking with a fellow teacher and using PPA time effectively.

The role focuses on delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupil progress, and creating an inclusive learning environment in KS2, while maintaining safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with UK-recognised QTS.
• Experience delivering the primary curriculum, ideally KS2.
• Confident teaching a Year 3 class.
• Available to work three days per week from January 2027.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, effective and creative lessons in line with the primary curriculum.
• Teach and support pupils in Year 3 classroom.
• Share planning and marking responsibilities with the other class teacher.
• Make effective use of allocated PPA time.
• Assess pupils progress and provide feedback to support development.
• Adapt teaching approaches for different abilities and learning needs.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning habits.
• Support pupils' academic progress, confidence and independence.
