Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Year 3/4 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Leigh (WN7). This full-time role starts immediately, with hours 08:30am-15:30pm and a 30-minute lunch break.

You will support across the Year 3/4 class, help deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps, assist lesson planning, and promote an inclusive classroom where every student belongs. This is a long-term, temp-to-perm opportunity with ongoing development and support.

Qualifications

• Recent experience working in a school or education setting.
• Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar - or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Supporting across the Year 3/4 class, responding to all children's individual needs
• Helping deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps
• Working alongside the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
