Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a Year 3/4 Teacher for a full-time, long-term position in Leigh (WN7), starting September. You will teach a class of 27 with a full-time teaching assistant, within a supportive school culture focused on respect and inclusion.

The role involves planning engaging lessons, marking, and delivering the national curriculum while upholding safeguarding policies. APSCo compliant and access to Milk Academy CPD are highlights.

Qualifications

• A teaching qualification with QTS
• Recent teaching experience in a school or education setting
• Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Exceptional organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning

Responsibilities

• Teaching the children in class and ensuring they complete their work to a high standard
• Guiding children through the curriculum, marking work and setting homework tasks
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Promoting an accepting, inclusive classroom where every student feels they belong
