Qualifications

• Experience working with pupils with SEN is essential.
• Knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, preferably based in Y2.
• Must have a clear DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.

About the Role

Connex Education are working exclusively with a fantastic primary school located in the Wavertree area of South Liverpool. This school is seeking a committed and experience teaching assistant to join their Year 2 class on a full-time basis from September 2025. In this role, you will work closely with a team of SEN staff with the support of the school SENCO to help provide 1:1 support with a child with SLD. It is essential to have experience working in 1:1/SEN to apply for this position.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable, however those with relevant school experience, will be considered.
