Job Opportunity: Year 2 Primary Teacher (Full-Time)
Location: Rochdale, (OL11)
Start Date: 9th June 2025
Contract: Until December 2025, with potential for renewal
ECTs welcome - permanent terms offered after one successful term on supply
Must hold UK QTS | Full-Time Availability Required

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rochdale (OL11), is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join our team from Monday, 9th June 2025. This is a full-time role initially offered until July 2025, with the strong possibility of extension or permanent placement.

We welcome Early Career Teachers (ECTs)-after successfully completing one term, you'll be eligible for full ECT induction and terms.

About the Role:
You'll take full responsibility for teaching a Year 2 class, delivering creative and engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum, while working collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil progress and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to Year 2 curriculum objectives
* Assess, track and report on pupil progress
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Work effectively with teaching assistants, leadership, and parents
* Uphold school policies and support the ethos of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
* Be available full-time from June 2025
* Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Be passionate about pupil progress and early KS1 learning
* Be organised, adaptable, and committed to safeguarding and inclusion
