Job summary

Supply Desk are working with a welcoming primary school in West Sussex who are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from January 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate primary teacher looking for a rewarding long-term maternity cover within KS1.

You will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential.

Qualifications

• QTS and primary teaching experience are required.
• Experience teaching KS1/Year 2 is desirable.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons.
• High expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• Support the academic, social and emotional development of every child.
• Confidence managing a classroom independently and working as part of a team.

Location: Bosham, West Sussex
Start Date: January 2027
Contract: Full-Time | Fixed-Term | Two Terms
Pay: £168-£260 per day
