Position: Year 2 Teacher

Role and Responsibilities:

The school is a lovely, two-form entry primary school in Bolton, known for its supportive and welcoming environment. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality education that meets the diverse needs of students, helping them achieve their full potential.

• You will be required to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to meet the varied abilities of Year 2 Students
• Implement the Phonics and Little Wandle programmes to support literacy development
• Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed, including marking to ensure effective teaching and learning
• Qualified Teacher Status, or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of Phonics and experience with the Little Wandle programme
• Previous Experience teaching Year 2
• Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
