Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 2 Primary Teacher for a welcoming primary school in Croydon, South London. The role is a full-time, long-term position starting September 2026, with potential extension or permanent prospects depending on performance.

Applicants must hold QTS (or equivalent) and have at least 2 years KS1 experience in the UK, with strong behaviour management and SEN/EAL experience. DBS update and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver Year 2 lessons.
• Mark and provide feedback to pupils.
• Lead parents evenings and key communications with caregivers.
• Support pupils with SEN/EAL and classroom needs.
