Job summary

Supply Hive Wales is seeking a qualified Year 2 Class Teacher to join a Cardiff primary school on a full-time basis. You will take full class responsibility, plan and deliver lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales, and assess progress.

You'll work with a teaching assistant and families, with safeguarding training provided and weekly pay at £170–£180 per day.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
• Registered with the EWC as a school teacher or eligible to register.
• Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service).

Responsibilities

• Full class responsibility for a Year 2 class.
• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
• Assess progress and adapt teaching to meet each pupil's needs.
• Work closely with the teaching assistant, wider staff team and families.

Supply Hive Wales is looking for a primary teacher to take on a full-time Year 2 class at a primary school in Cardiff.

The role

• Full class responsibility for a Year 2 class
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales
• Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet every pupil's needs
• Working closely with the teaching assistant, wider staff team and families

About you

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Registered with the EWC as a school teacher, or able to register
• Experience teaching younger primary year groups is a plus
• An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service)
