Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group Ltd is seeking a Year 1 Teacher for an Ofsted-graded 'Good' primary school in Tower Hamlets. The role is full-time, long-term with an ASAP start, teaching a Year 1 class of around 25 pupils.

You will plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum, assess progress, manage behaviour and support KS1 pupils to reach their potential. QTS and KS1 experience are essential, with a nurturing approach valued.

The Role - Year 1 Teacher

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will lead a class of 25 pupils, planning and delivering stimulating lessons in line with the National Curriculum. You will assess pupil progress, adapt teaching to suit different learning needs, and create a safe, supportive classroom where children can develop confidence and reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent behaviour management, previous KS1 teaching experience, and a genuine commitment to helping young learners succeed. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
