We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Year 1 Teacher to join a committed and supportive team. This is a wonderful opportunity to guide pupils as they transition from the Early Years into Key Stage 1, building essential skills in a happy and stimulating classroom environment. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as a Year 1 Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners in Year 1.

  • Support children’s development across phonics, early writing, reading and numeracy.

  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

  • Provide a caring, structured learning environment that supports wellbeing and independence.

  • Use continuous and formal assessment to track progress and inform next steps.

Ideal Year 1 Teacher:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with a passion for early learning and child development.

  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, particularly early phonics and literacy.

  • A nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach to classroom practice.

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills as a Year 1 Teacher.

  • A team player committed to high standards and inclusive education.
