Job summary

St James in England is seeking a temporary part-time Year 1 teacher to cover maternity leave. The role runs on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning and will work with the Year 1 team to raise standards.

Experience in Reception or Key Stage 1 is essential, and ECTs will be considered. The contract starts on 22 February 2027 for one year and includes safeguarding guidelines consistent with Keeping Children

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in Year 1 is essential.
• Experience in Reception or KS1 is desirable.
• Qualified teacher status required; ECTs considered.
