Job summary

Education at Ivy Resource Group seeks a Year 1 Teacher in Cheltenham on the Main Pay Scale. The role is a long-term maternity cover, full-time, Monday to Friday, starting Monday 4th January 2027.

The ideal candidate will be an excellent teacher with high expectations of pupil achievement, a commitment to SEND pupils, and the ability to support the Headteacher and school team to give pupils the best start to their learning journey.

• Carry out the professional duties of a school teacher as set out in the current School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document under Headteacher direction.
• Develop and implement high quality teaching, learning, curriculum, assessment and progress in a specific subject across the school.

Job Description:

We are looking for a determined and talented individual who is an excellent teacher, with high expectations of pupil achievement and are excited and passionate about supporting all pupils, especially those with SEND needs, to achieve their best. We are looking for a teacher who is able to fully support the Headteacher and school team to provide the best start to our pupils learning journey.

• Develop and implement high quality teaching, learning, curriculum, assessment and progress in a specific subject under the Head Teachers direction, across the school.
