Job summary

Independent Roofing Supplies, part of IBMG, is seeking a reliable Yard & Warehouse Operative for their Bexhill branch. This hands-on role supports the yard, warehouse and customer collection areas while delivering excellent customer service.

You'll be involved in receiving deliveries, storing stock, picking orders, loading vehicles, assisting customers, keeping the yard tidy, and following safety procedures as part of a busy branch team. Hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Experience in yard, warehouse or stock handling preferred.
• Valid full driving licence and forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check deliveries.
• Store stock safely and efficiently.
• Pick and prepare customer orders.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Assist customers collecting materials.
• Keep yard and warehouse clean and organised.
• Carry out stock checks.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a busy branch team.

The Role

We're looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard & Warehouse Operative to join our team in Bexhill.

This is a hands-on role where you'll support the smooth running of the yard, warehouse, and customer collection areas while delivering excellent customer service.

What We're Looking For

• Previous yard, warehouse, or stock handling experience preferred
