Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience in DIY and general maintenance skills.
• Yardman experience will be beneficial.
• An ability to promptly deal with routine tasks.
• A methodical and tidy approach in relation to work.
• A willingness to learn.
• Be a team player.
• Flexibility in work.
• Having a ‘nothing is too much trouble’ attitude.
• IT literacy, use of computers for recording tasks and time keeping.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• A professional appearance and manner.
• Ability to work on own initiative and cope well at busy times.
• A full driving licence is essential.
• Solid experience in towing trailers (essential).

Responsibilities

• Daily help with opening and closing the business.
• Maintain clean and organised workshop environment daily.
• Fulfil general daily and weekly tasks set by the management.
• Keeping the yard tidy and organised.
• Move vehicles around the workshop and yard as needed.
• Keeping vehicles clean and tidy.
• Maintenance as needed.
• Driving company vehicles as needed for any collections and deliveries.
• Trailer work as needed.
