Job summary

Enva is seeking a Yard Marshall at our Colwick site to safely direct vehicle movements and maintain yard housekeeping. The role supports site operations and ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.

The successful candidate will oversee vehicle movements, assist with loading/unloading as needed, and work with drivers and site teams to uphold safety standards and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy yard, waste management, logistics or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, visitors and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Safely marshal and direct the movement of HGVs, plant and other vehicles.
• Manage traffic flow to minimise congestion and ensure efficiency.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing waste and recyclables.
• Ensure proper storage and segregation of materials.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping in yard and operational areas.
• Complete relevant paperwork and perform operational checks.
